Kazakhtelecom took the 5th place among transparent companies of Kazakhstan on results of Standard & Poor's research

/KASE, October 22, 09/ - Kazakhtelecom (Astana), the listed company of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), informed KASE by the official letter that by results of Standard & Poor's rating agency research results Kazakhtelecom entered top-5 most transparent companies of Kazakhstan. According to the disseminated press release, review of transparency and information disclosure is the analytical project of Standard & Poor's. The level of information openness is evaluated only based public information sources. During the research 110 aspects of transparency and information disclosure are evaluated related to the property structure, investors, financial and production information, composition and procedures of Board of Directors and management performance. In the research of information transparency of Kazakhstan companies in 2009 of Standard & Poor's were included 22 public companies.
