/IRBIS, October 7, 2009/ - The American Petroleum Institute (API) published a report according to which for the week ending Oct 2, commercial oil reserves in the U.S. declined by 254.0 thousand barrels to 339.4 m. barrels. Gasoline inventories rose by 544.0 thousand barrels to 213.0 million barrels, distillate stocks fell by 2.9 million barrels to 167.8 million barrels.
