Commercial oil reserves declined by 254.0 thousand barrels in the U.S. for last week - API forecasts

/IRBIS, October 7, 2009/ - The American Petroleum Institute (API) published a
report according to which for the week ending Oct 2, commercial oil reserves
in the U.S. declined by 254.0 thousand barrels to 339.4 m. barrels. Gasoline
inventories rose by 544.0 thousand barrels to 213.0 million barrels, distillate
stocks fell by 2.9 million barrels to 167.8 million barrels.
American Petroleum Institute is a national non-governmental organization
engaged in research on all aspects and ensures that activities are management
issues in the field of oil and gas industry. Today is scheduled for release
official data of State Energy Information Administration (EIA) U.S. Dep. of
Energy on the weekly change in commercial stocks of crude oil and petroleum
products in the country. According to the previous EIA report oil reserves in the
U.S. for the week ending September 25 rose by 2.8 million barrels to 338.4 million
This gasoline inventories fell 1.6 million barrels to 211.5 million barrels, while
distillate stocks rose to 300.0 thousand barrels to 171.1 million barrels.
