Kazakhstan Banks have completed a settlement of finances which is allocated for refinancing of mortgage loans

/IRBIS, September 16, 09/ - Completed settlement with its partner banks,
finances that had allocated for the refinancing of mortgage loans to residents
of Kazakhstan, announced by press-service of JSC National Welfare Fund
Samruk-Kazyna(the Fund) on September 15.
As part of the stabilization program of the National Fund of Kazakhstan was
allocated KTZ 120 billion for refinancing of mortgages. As operator of these
tools was the Fund, by settling its in the following partner banks: were settled
by JSC BTA Bank (KTZ 37.0 billion), Kazkommertsbank (KTZ 24.0 billion), Halyk
Savings Bank of Kazakhstan (KTZ 20.5 billion), JSC Alliance Bank (KTZ10.9
billion), Bank CenterCredit (KTZ 4.3 billion), JSC ATF Bank (KTZ 4.3 billion),
Temirbank (KTZ 6.0 billion), JSC Caspian bank (KTZ 4.0 billion), Tsesnabank
(KTZ 4.0 billion), JSC Eurasian Bank (KTZ 4.0 billion) and by Nurbank (KTZ 1.0
billion).
From March 1, the banks have started to accept applications from citizens who
have mortgages.
Under the program, subject to refinancing mortgage loans issued in the
acquisition of sole in the area of housing, an area not exceeding 120 square
meters. Mortgage loans were refinanced at a rate of 9% for public sector
workers and the socially vulnerable segments of the population and 11% - for
other categories of borrowers.
The purpose of refinancing was a cheaper loan rates and an increase up to 20
years to enable borrowers to pay lower monthly amount than before.
Refinancing puts the problem of providing delay in the payment of the loan.
