Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance and National Bank net borrowing balance on GS market - plus KZT 6,118.6 m.

/IRBIS, Valeriya Grichshenko, September 7, 09/ - The Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Kazakhstan ended the period of August 31 - September 4, 2009 on the primary GS market with the following results: - the weekly net borrowing balance of the Ministry of Finance on the domestic market resulted in the amount of plus KZT14,168.0 m. - at KZT600.0 m. servicing volume, the issuer held one auction on placing of government middle - term treasury obligations MEOKAM-36 #0077 (NIN - KZK2KY030775) for the amount of KZT14.8m. on September 2; - the weekly net borrowing balance of the National Bank resulted in minus KZT8,049.4 having paid notes at KZT25,036.7 m., the issuer borrowed KZT 16,987.3 m. at one auction. IRBIS estimates the weekly net borrowing balance of all GS issuers at plus KZT6,118.6 m. The "minus" sign in the balance indicator means the indicated sum was withdrawn from the issuer (issuers) budget and remained at investors the "plus" sign - for the indicated sum means the issuer (issuers) borrowed more than paid.
