Kazakhtelecom (Kazakhstan) launches Namba.kz

To boost development of the Kazakhstan Internet Kazakhtelecom is
creating attractive conditions for development of Internet platforms. Kaznet
now has got new portal Namba.kz providing Internet users with various
services. Locating the portal server on the Kazakhtelecom platform will
allow for Megaline subscribers enjoying free and unlimited traffic.
It has become a good trend creating quality and frequently visited portals in
the Kaznet. The Namba Media project includes Namba Post, Namba Files, Namba
Feedback and a portal page demonstrating the main news of Kazakh media,
weather forecast and currency rates.
"We want to offer a range of highly demanded services, which is why we have not
limited to establishing a post service only, - Namba Media general director
Bakhtiar Sadykov says. - Namba will constantly develop and include various
interesting services, offering more new opportunities. The trump cards of the
project are high access speed and free traffic for Megaline subscribers. As for
the project name, we have selected a good short name, which is easy to remember,
write and combine with other names".
Thanks to a unified authorization system, it is only required too register once
to be able and enjoy all Namba services.
Namba Post advantages are an unlimited post box size; user-friendly interface;
ability to send huge volume messages; address book; anti spam and anti virus
components; high access speed and free internet traffic for Megaline
subscribers.
Designers say Namba.kz provides automatic post collector, collecting mail from
other user's accounts. Having set an automatic mail collector, a user may
receive letters from any e-mail address (Mail.ru, Yandex, Gmail etc.) into their
account on Namba.
File exchange services, aimed for posting, storage, resending large files and
round-the-clock access are being developed in the Kaznet. Namba also offers a
file exchange service Namba Files. In the spring 2009 Namba Media bought from
IKEEN Group Filebar.kz and Videobar.kz. Thus, file exchange service FileBar has
been modernized by Namba Media into a new file exchange service Namba Files.
New Namba Files allows - 10 Gb disk file volume; a three month storage with
option to extend terms; 2 Gb maximum download file size; option to receive links
on files through integration with Murl.kz; high access speed and free internet
traffic for Megaline subscribers.
"We offer a Namba feedback service allowing for users to send ideas and
discuss, share opinions and vote, - Mr. Sadykov said. - All users may be add to
development of Namba services sending their ideas and remarks. Popular and
