Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance and National Bank net borrowing balance on GS market - plus KZT14,504.5 m.

/IRBIS, Valeriya Grichenko, August 24, 09/ - The Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Kazakhstan ended the period of August 17 - 21, 2009 on the primary GS market with the following results: - the weekly net borrowing balance of the Ministry of Finance on the domestic market resulted in the amount of plus KZT10,929.5 m. - at KZT1 293.8 m. servicing volume, the issuer held one auction on placing of government middle - term treasury obligations MEOKAM-60 #031 (NIN - KZK2KY050310) for the amount of KZT12.2m. on August 19; - the weekly net borrowing balance of the National Bank resulted in plus KZT3,574.0aving paid notes at KZT29,966.9 m., the issuer borrowed KZT33,541.8 m. at one auction. IRBIS estimates the weekly net borrowing balance of all GS issuers at plus KZT14,504.5 m. The "minus" sign in the balance indicator means the indicated sum was withdrawn from the issuer (issuers) budget and remained at investors the "plus" sign - for the indicated sum means the issuer (issuers) borrowed more than paid.
