Exchange (KASE) on August 10, 2009 TuranAlem Finance B.V. (Rotterdam)
paid no ninth coupon interest on international bonds XS0211873053 (KASE
official list, Rated debt securities, BTASe5; USD350.0 m; 10.02.05 - 10.02.15;
semiannual coupon 8.50 % APR; 30/360) "as the Bank decided to suspend
interest payment beginning July 22, 2009".
Earlier the bank released news dated July 27, 2009 "BTA Bank (Kazakhstan)
informs on meeting within organization committee of creditors and temporary
suspension of interest payment beginning July 22, 2009" -
