BTA Bank's subsidiary-Temirbank (Kazakhstan) informs on preliminary results of disbursement of funds within mortgage loan refinance program

/KASE, August 19, 09/ - BTA Bank's subsidiary-Temirbank (Almaty), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release: Quotation beginning On August 19 Temirbank summarized results on disbursement of funds allocated by the state within the second stage of the mortgage loan refinance program. Currently the bank disbursed KZT1.9 bn. At the end of June, after completion of the first stage of refinancing by second-tier banks, funds not spent were allocated. Temirbank on May 14, 2009 disbursed KZT3 bn, having refinanced 764 loans, this is why Samruk-Kazyna on July 1 this year issued additionally to the bank KZT3 bn. Currently the bank refinanced 501 mortgage loans for a total of KZT1.9 bn. Temirbank is among the ten largest Kazakhstan-based banks.
