Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance and National Bank net borrowing balance on GS market - plus KZT10,401.6 m.

/IRBIS, Valeriya Grichenko, July 20, 09/ - The Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Kazakhstan ended the period of July 13 - 17, 2009 on the primary GS market with the following results: - the weekly net borrowing balance of the Ministry of Finance on the domestic market resulted in the amount of plus KZT11,382.9 m. - at KZT617.2 m. servicing volume, the issuer held one auction on placing of government middle-term treasury obligations MEOKAM-36 #0075 (NIN - KZK2KY030759) for the amount of KZT12.0 m. on July 15; - the weekly net borrowing balance of the National Bank resulted in minus KZT981.24 m. - having paid notes at KZT25,077.7 m., the issuer borrowed KZT24,096.5 m. at one auction. IRBIS estimates the weekly net borrowing balance of all GS issuers at plus KZT10,401.6 m. The "minus" sign in the balance indicator means the indicated sum was withdrawn from the issuer (issuers) budget and remained at investors the "plus" sign - for the indicated sum means the issuer (issuers) borrowed more than paid.
