extension of period adaptation on the refinancing mortgage program.

On June 24, 2009 there was made a decision about the extension of period
adaptation on the refinancing mortgage program up to October 1,09, setting the
STB application deadline from borrowers on August 1, 2009.
The Banks continues implementing KZT120 billion allocated to the refinancing of
real-estate loan. Six banks have implemented KZT3 billion during 3 months. Four
bank received substantial amounts: BTA Bank JSC and BTA Ipoteka JSC -
KZT40 billion, Kazkommertsbank - KZT24 billion, Halyk Savings Bank of
Kazakhstan JSC- KZT24 billion, Alliance Bank JSC - 14 billion, the period of
implementation was extended to July 1, as they have more than 15 thousand
borrowers. As on June 19, 2009, the banks received 38,579 applications to the
amount of KZT146.9 billion, which were approved more than 24,116 applications
to the sum of KZT93.7 billion.
The Fund noted that in the first place should be refinanced the borrowers that
were received loans approval by the committees of the banks, but have not
obtained it due to a lack of allocated funds.
