/KASE, June 19, 09/ - KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (Astana), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), issued a statement: Quotation beginning JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production ("the Company" or "KMG EP") announces that pursuant to the Share Buy Back Programme commenced on 24 November, 2008, on June 18, 2009 the Company acquired 100,000 global depository receipts ("GDR") on the London Stock Exchange at an average price USD19.9175 a GDR. Since the start of the Share Buy Back Programme, the Company has purchased in aggregate 5,516,697 GDRs and 104,128 common shares.
