Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance and National Bank net borrowing balance on GS market - plus KZT 10,209.1 m.

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, May 18, 09/ - The Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Kazakhstan ended the period of May 12 - 15, 2009 on the primary GS market with the following results: - the weekly net borrowing balance of the Ministry of Finance on the domestic market resulted in the amount of plus KZT10,319.6 m. - at KZT165.3 m. servicing volume, the issuer held one auction on placing of government long-term treasury obligations MEOKAM-36 #73 (NIN KZK2KY030734) for the amount of KZT10,484.9 m. on May 15; - the weekly net borrowing balance of the National Bank resulted in minus KZT110.5 m. - having paid notes at KZT25,110.5 m., the issuer borrowed KZT25,000.0 m. at one auction. IRBIS estimates the weekly net borrowing balance of all GS issuers at plus KZT10,209.1 m. The "minus" sign in the balance indicator means the indicated sum was withdrawn from the issuer (issuers) budget and remained at investors the "plus" sign - for the indicated sum means the issuer (issuers) borrowed more than paid.
