/KASE, May 13, 09/ - KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (Astana), a company listed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), issued a statement: Quotation beginning KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC ("EP KMG", "the Company") announces that within the share buy back program that commenced November 24, 2008, on May 12, 2009 the Company acquired 78,600 global depository receipts ("GDR") on the London Stock Exchange at an average price USD17.8977 a GDR. Since the beginning of the program the Company acquired 4,945,297 GDRs and 98,495 common shares.
