KASE GS trade volume grows 10.3 %, reaches KZT299.3 bn. (USD2,060.7 m.) in 4 months of 2009

/KASE, May 4, 09/ - In initial four months of 2009 government securities (GS) trade volume on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE)* reached KZT299.3 bn. (USD2,060.7 m.) and grew against the corresponding period of 2008 by 10.3 % (contracted 8.6 % in dollar terms). Trade volume reduced 32.5 % (44.2 % in dollar terms) against the previous four month period (September-December 2008).
