a press release dated April 30, 2009:

SB Sberbank informs on most successful projects financed within the third
tranche of the state program for support and development of small and
middle businesses implemented jointly with fund DAMU.
Having made a decision to develop small and middle businesses, SB Sberbank is
thoroughly considering each request, paying most attention to timeliness,
meaning and prospect of a credited project. SB Sberbank is stating that each
business credited within the Program is contributing much to stabilization of
economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

SB Sberbank joined the third tranche of the anticrisis program of the DAMU fund,
having signed a General agreement on allocation of KZT6,000 m. for financing of
small and middle businesses.
On April 29, 2009 SB Sberbank with the DAMU fund program approved decisions
on crediting of 44 projects for a total of KZT3,900 m., of which KZT3,578 m.
were disbursed. Industries received money as follows: industry - KZT428.7 m.,
agriculture - KZT243.4 m., trade - KZT2,781.0 m., other services - KZT124.9 m.
