Kazakhtelecom (Kazakhstan) signed an agreement with Kazcentrelectroprovod on products shipment to the amount of KZT1.3 bn

/KASE, April 28, 09/ - Kazakhtelecom (Astana), the listed company of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), informed KASE on signing an agreement with Kazcentrelectroprovod on shipment of cable and conducting products based on the previously implemented tender to the total amount about KZT1.3 bn. The tender for procurement of cable and conducting products was implemented among this products producers, where participated 9 companies from various regions of Kazakhstan. In compliance with the final Protocol among the tender winners on five out of nine lots was acknowledged Kazcentrelectroprovod (Saran town, Karaganda Region). The agreement signed between Kazakhtelecom and Kazcentrelectroprovod based on the above mentioned tender, intends shipment of products to the amount of KZT1,293,959,662. The leader of Kazakhstan communications operator will be delivered high-frequency cable, optical cable, telephone cable with polyethylene insulation in the plastic jacket, telephone cable with messenger steel cable, etc. Also, On March 11, 2009, between Kazakhtelecom and Kazcentrelectroprovod was singed the Memorandum of Cooperation.
