Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance and National Bank net borrowing balance on GS market - minus KZT14,199.5 m.

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, April 27, 09/ - The Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Kazakhstan ended the period of April 20 - 24, 2009 on the primary GS market with the following results: - the weekly net borrowing balance of the Ministry of Finance on the domestic market resulted in the amount of plus KZT11,052.7 m. - at KZT113.9 m. servicing volume, the issuer held one auction on placing of government long-term treasury obligations MEUKAM-96 #03 (NIN KZKDKY080031) for the amount of KZT11,166.7 m. on April 22; - the weekly net borrowing balance of the National Bank resulted in minus KZT25,252.2 m. - having paid notes at KZT75,252.3 m., the issuer borrowed KZT50,000.1 m. at one auction. IRBIS estimates the weekly net borrowing balance of all GS issuers at minus KZT14,199.5 m. The "minus" sign in the balance indicator means the indicated sum was withdrawn from the issuer (issuers) budget and remained at investors the "plus" sign - for the indicated sum means the issuer (issuers) borrowed more than paid.
