AFS notes bonds KZPC6Y03B570 (ASBNb9) of Alliance Bank (Kazakhstan) were not placed August 20, 2008 through February 20, 2009

/KASE, April 8, 09/ - Alliance Bank (Almaty), securities of which are listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a copy of letter of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations (AFS) of March 26, 2009 according to which AFS "notes August 20, 2008 through February 20, 2009 the bonds of the sixth issue within the first bond program were not placed". According to AFS as on February 20, 2009 1,626,500 of the bonds were not placed. KASE draws attention that textual meaning of the word combination "through February 20, 2009" implies that any data on the number of unplaced bonds presented in the AFS letter should be realized as on February 21, 2009, or - if the date is indicated correctly - it is necessary to realize that the period mentioned in the AFS letter ended February 19, 2009.
