/KASE, March 27, 09/ - By the decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE)
Listing Commission from March 27, 2009, common shares KZ1C31450014
(CSBN) of Kaspi Bank (Almaty) are transferred from KASE official list first to
third category.
KASE Listing Commission conclusion of March 20, 2009 emphasizes that
according to the inspection results of Kaspi Bank and its mentioned shares for
compliance with listing requirements, set forth by resolution # 77 of the Agency
of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market
and Financial Organizations (AFS) "On Requirements to Issuers and their
Securities, being Admitted (Admitted) to Circulation on Stock Exchange, and
Certain Stock Exchange Official List Categories" of May 26, 2008 for the second
category, as of March 1, 2009 was revealed incompliance with the listing
requirement related to existence of mentioned shares in free float. Upon expiry of
six months from September 1, 2008 (the date of trades opening in mentioned
shares as present in KASE official list by the second category) the number of
mentioned Kaspi Bank free floating shares does not comply with the minimum
value, set forth by sub-item 7) of item 4 of the mentioned resolution.
Based on the above said the mentioned shares are liable to transfer from KASE
official list first to third category, which does not specify the number of free
floating shares for presence in it.
Common shares of Kaspi Bank were included to KASE category "A" official list
from July 1, 2002, and from September 1, 2008 were included into KASE official
list first category. Trades in them were opened on July 1, 2002.
From July 1, 2002 to the present moment in mentioned shares were made 553
deals by open trades methods to the amount of KZT3.4 m. (the equivalent of
USD26.3 m.). These shares price varied from KZT140.00 to KZT8,000.00 per
share.
