/KASE, March 5, 09/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) determined top
operators of purchase and sale government securities (GS) market in February
2009 (except for the Kazakhstan National Bank).
Twenty four companies dealt on the market in February 2009. The chart below
shows top ten KASE category "K" members (all headquartered in Almaty, unless
specified otherwise). The top ten amassed 73.6 % of trade volume of the market:

Eurasian Bank and Brokerage company Astana-Finance became newcomers of
the top ten replacing:
- Subsidiary Bank RBS (Kazakhstan) (eighth in January);
- Delta Bank (tenth in January).
The table below indicates most active KASE category "K" operators in two initial
months of 2009. Thirty seven companies dealt on the market in the period.
The active ten accumulated 71.4 % of trade volume on the purchase and sale GS
market.

according to the KASE internal document "Methodology of Calculation of
Activity Indicators of Members of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(Methodology) with account to principle amendments made by the KASE
Board decision on February 23, 2009.
