Bank CenterCredit (Kazakhstan) raises USD15.0 m. loan from Bank of Montreal (Canada)

/KASE, March 4, 09/ - Bank CenterCredit (Almaty), a company listed on
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), released a statement:
Quotation beginning
Bank CenterCredit (the Bank) received from Canadian Bank of Montreal, Toronto
a USD15.0 loan for refinancing of a corporate client of the Bank Holding
KazExportAstyk.
Bank CenterCredit and Bank of Montreal since long ago engaged in partnership,
and the Canadian bank has been providing finance for large corporate clients of
the bank for many years. The loan is guaranteed by the Washington based
International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group,
within the Global Trade Finance Program (GTFP). The raised funds will be
allocated for financing of export activities of the client.
The bank has been in cooperation with Holding KazExportAstyk for nine years.
This is a large Kazakhstan cereal company, with USD300 m. turnover in 2008.
The Holding was one of the first to re-equip agriculture machinery. The company
is financially stable, with high quality management and labor organization, good
sales system, developed infrastructure, flawless credit history and sustainable
cash flows.
Amidst harsh crisis circumstances financial standing of Bank CenterCredit is
confirmed by trust of international financial organizations and this transaction
is a good evidence thereof.
IFC was founded in 1956 and is a part of the World Bank Group. IFC mission is to
aid stable inflow of private investment into dveloping countries, consistent
development of economy and improvement of life conditions. Its main activity is
aimed at development of private sector, stimulation of growth of manufacturing
enterprises and formation of effective capital markets in 181 countries members
including Kazakhstan. In 2008 IFC invested USD16.2 bn. which is 34 % more that

Amidst complex market conditions the main task of the Bank is preservation of
current clientele and trust thereof. Bank CenterCredit's historical priority was
development of small and middle businesses, and the new loan for refinancing of
a corporate client evidences enlargement and strengthening of bank positions.
