KASE determined leaders of exchange GS purchase and sale market for January 2009

/KASE, February 24, 09/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) determined leaders of exchange government securities (GS) purchase and sale market in Kazakhstan for January 2009. Below are the "top-10" KASE category "K" members (headquarters of all companies are located in Almaty, unless otherwise specified). In total in conclusion of deals on corporate bonds purchasing-selling, excluding the National Bank, in January 2009 participated 30 companies. KASE draws attention that the exchange GS market operators activity ranking shown in the table was developed in compliance with the KASE internal document "Methodology of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange Members Activity Indicators Calculation" (Methodology), considering principal amendments made to the Methodology by KASE Board of February 23, 2009.
