/KASE, January 30, 09/ - KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (Astana), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), released an information message as follows. Quotation beginning KazMunaiGas Exploration Production ("EP KMG", "Company") announces, within the frames of the share buy back program, launched November 24, 2008, on January 29, 2009 the Company acquired 16,000 global depository receipts ("GDR") on London Stock Exchange at an average price $13.0234 a GDR. Since the beginning of implementation of the share buy back program the Company redeemed 1,005,073 GDRs and 35,463 common shares.
