Oil and condensate production in Kazakhstan grew to 70.6 m. tones in 2008

/REUTERS, Astana, January 12, 09/ - According to live data, oil and
condensate production in Kazakhstan in 2008 grew by 4.8 % compared to
2007 resulting in 70.6 m. tones, Sauat Mynbaev, the Minister of Energy
informed.
"According to live data, 70.6 m. tones of oil and gas condensate were
produced for year 2008 what resulted in 104.8 % by 2007" - the Minister said
on government session on Monday.
Government's previous forecast for 2008 made 67-70 m. tones of
hydrocarbons. Authorities planed growth of production up to 79.2 m. tones in
the budget 2009.
