BTA Securities informed that BTA Bank (Kazakhstan) paid the 1st coupon on bonds KZ2C0Y10D067 (BTASb9)

/KASE, December 24, 08/ - Subsidiary of joint stock company BTA Bank BTA Securities (Almaty, in the headline - BTA Securities) informed Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) by the official letter that on December 23, 2008, BTA Bank (Almaty) paid the first coupon to holders of its subordinated bonds KZ2C0Y10D067 (KASE official list, the first subcategory of "Non-rated Debt Securities", BTASb9; KZT1,000, KZT100.0 bn.; June 16, 08 - June 16, 18, the semi-annual coupon 11.00 % APR; 30/360). According to BTA Bank message the coupon income was accrued to the amount of KZT2,827,530,365.00. The total payments, excluding the tax withheld in the payment souse made up KZT2,607,562,991.00. Based on the mentioned coupon payment amount as of the register fixing date (December 9, 08) 51.4 % of mentioned bonds were circulating.
