Quotation start KazMunaiGas Exploration Production ("the Company" or "KMG EP") announces that pursuant to the Share Buy Back Programme commenced on November 24, 2008, on December 23, 2008 the Company acquired 24,000 global depositary receipts ("GDRs") (LSE:KMG) on the London Stock Exchange at an average price of $13.0000 per GDR.
