Astana-finance JSC (Kazakhstan) informs on its affiliate member status of MasterCard International Payment Systems

/IRBIS, December 4, 08/ - Astana-finance JSC (Almaty) disseminated the press release: Quotation start October 20, 2008 Astana-finance was granted the Affiliate Member status of International Payment Systems MasterCard International and the right for Maestro, MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Gold and MasterCard Business charge cards issue. MasterCard WorldWide - is International Payment Systems, combining 22 th. financial organizations in 210 worldwide countries. Affiliate Member status of International Payment Systems MasterCard International gives the right for issue and service of MasterCard charge cards. The bank plans to put into operation its own cashpoints, POS-terminal for cardholders` service in near-term outlook. Granting the member status of MasterCard WorldWide was fundamental, planned step for the bank as participation in Payment Systems gives the right for international charge card issue. This status provides bank with considerable expanded range of services and products for clients. The term of entry corresponded to the bank's plans. According to charge cards office of Astana-finance, the package of documents with status gaining bid was provided to MasterCard at the end of August, 2008.
