KASE repo transactions volume decreases 5.3 %, making KZT22,678.6 bn. ($188.6 bn.) in 11 months of 2008

/IRBIS, Valeriy Khegay, December 2, 08/ - In initial 11 months of 2008 the volume of the repo transactions concluded on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) totaled KZT22,678.6 bn. ($188,572.0 m.) and decreased by 5.3 % (3.4 % in dollar terms) compared to the corresponding period last year. In 2007 the volume of corresponding transactions on KASE made up KZT25,700.6 bn. ($209,759.7 m.). Below is the table of volumes of repo deals made on KASE in 2008 grouped by months and turnover structure with comparable data for 2007 (m.
