Volume of purchase and sale transactions in corporate bonds on KASE, including STF RFCA, falls 18.4 % to $3,236.9 m. (KZT389.0 bn.) in initial 11 months of 2008

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, December 1, 08/ - For the initial 11 months of 2008 the volume of purchase and sale transactions with corporate bonds made on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including deals on the special trading floor of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty (STF RFCA), reached $3,236.9 m. (KZT389.0 bn.), having fallen $731.3 m. or 18.4 % compared with the corresponding period of last year. The trend is estimated at KZT97.0 bn. or 20.0 % in tenge. In 2007 the volume of purchase and sale deals in corporate bonds on KASE, including deals on SRF RFCA, made up USD4,302.5 m. or KZT526.3 bn.
