Statistics Agency: Industrial manufacturer prices decrease 7.8 % in October 2008

Prices and tariffs on energy resources decreased for the month 10.8 %, gas condensate - 13.2 %, oil - 12.4 %, oil products - 0.9 %, increasing for coal - 14.9 %, electric energy - 0.1 %, In metallurgical industry over last month, prices fell on copper - 8.6 %, precious metals - 7.9 %, raw aluminum - 4.9 %, unprocessed zinc - 3.2 %, due to their reduction in price on foreign markets. Foodstuffs, made in the republic, for the last month fell by 0.3 %, vegetable oil - 5 %, wheat flour - 1.1 %, milk products - 0.7 %. Meat products grew 3.4 %, cereals - 3 %, pasta - 0.6%. Index of enterprisers-manufactures shows the dynamics of prices of industrial products, produced by Republican enterprisers. When building the index the scheme of weighting, formed on the basis of data on prices of products, produced by industrial enterprisers of the republic in acting prices for a certain year is used. Prices' changes are observed at selected network of basis enterprisers of various forms of property and products. [2008-11-07]
