GS purchase and sale transactions on KASE make KZT715.3 bn. in 10 months of 2008 decreasing 21.0 %

/IRBIS, Vitaliy Tomskiy, November 3, 08/ - For the first 10 months of 2008, the volume of purchase and sale transactions in government securities (GS) made on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including bonds of national local authorities, totaled KZT715.3 bn. ($5,951.8 m.) and decreased relative to the corresponding period last year by 21.0 % (19.0 % in dollar terms). On the whole in 2007 the volume of corresponding transactions with GS on KASE was KZT992.1 bn. ($8,065.7 m.).
