Eurasian Bank (Kazakhstan) admitted to KASE category "C" members as clearing member

/KASE, October 31, 08/ - By the decision of the Exchange Council of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) of October 30, 2008 Eurasian Bank (Almaty), a listing member of KASE in categories "A", "B", "K" and "P", was admitted to KASE members in category "C" as a clearing member. Membership in this category grants right to trade in futures contracts circulating (tradable) on KASE. According to the KASE internal document "Rules on Exchange Trading and Settlement on Futures Contracts", category "C" members, enjoying a right of operation on the KASE futures market are divided into two subcategories - clearing members and trading members. Clearing members are organizations authorized to make settlements with the Exchange on futures contracts. Trading members are organizations having no right of independent making settlements with the Exchange on futures contracts. Settlements with KASE on futures contracts concluded by trading members and their clients are made by clearing members only. [2008-10-31]
