Kazakhstan production grows 3.0 % in January - September of 2008/2007

/REUTERS, Almaty, October 13, 08/ - The growth rate of the industrial production in Kazakhstan in January-September of 2008 reduced to 3.0% compared to growth by 4.7% in January-September of 2007, Statistics Agency informed. September 2008 the industrial production grew by 0.8 % compared to August 2008, the Agency informed. Production volume in mining industry in September decreased by 0.7 % compared to the previous month. "The growth of production volume was observed in ten regions of republic" - is said in the report. In acting prices in January - September, 2008 the industrial products were produced on prices KZT8.202 trl. According to agency, in January - September 2008 the rates of production in processing industry reduced by 0.4 % compared to the same period of last year; concrete production decreased by 10.2 %, flat section n- by 1.0 %.
