Development Bank of Kazakhstan informs on particiaption in business forum Investment opportunities of Kazakhstan and Russia near-border regions

/KASE, September 23, 08/ - Development Bank of Kazakhstan (Astana), securities of which are traded in the official list of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) provided KASE with the press release: Quotation start Today in Aktobe the head of the state visited the facilities of Aktubroentgen, producing medical and industrial roentgen equipment. Aktubrentgen modernization rpoject has been funded by Development Bank of Kazakhstan since 2006. The president of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbaev visited one of the oldest roentgen technique enterprize in CIS within the frameworks of participation in the Fifth Jubilee Forum of near-border region heads with participation of Kazakhstan and Russia Presidents. The project plan supposes to substitute worn roentgen apparatuses production equipment, modernize equipment, and transfer production to new facilities. Equipment modernization will allow for reducing costs which would add to improving in terms of production competitiveness. Also within the frameworks of the Forum there is an on-going business-forum Investment opportunities of Kazakhstan and Russia near-border regions, where the Vice-president of Development Bank of Kazakhstan Gani Iskalilev delivered a speech. He spoke on participation of development institutions members of Fund of Sustainable Development Kazyna, in implementation of joint Russian- Kazakhstan projects in near-border regions and perspectives of further cooperation. Additionally, Development Bank of Kazakhstan took part in the high tech exhibition being held within the bounds of the Forum. According to the results of the Forum the Agreement between Development bank of Kazakhstan and Vnesheconombank of Russia is to be signed. Development Bank of Kazakhstan was established in 2001. It is a part of the state holding Fund of Sustainble Development Kazyna, founded for perfection of the system of corporate management of development institutions. Development Bank of Kazakhstan grants loans for mid-term and long-term investment projects in production infrastructure and non-material industries. Actubroentgen was established on the base of Moscow plant Mosroentgen, equipment and personnel of which were evacuated to Aktubinsk during the Second World War.
