Nearest oil futures prices decreased 1.54 % - 2.08 % on major world trading floors

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, September 8, 08/ - By the results of trades of
September 5 this year:
- on NYMEX (New York) the price of Light Sweet Crude Oil mixture with
delivery in October 2008 decreased by 1.54 % to $106.23 per barrel;
- on ICE (London) price of October Brent Forties Oseburg futures fell by
2.08 % to $104.09 per barrel
Oil was permanently decreasing during all last week. On Friday, the fall was
conditioned by traders` anxieties on uncertainty in OPEK oil production
decreasing. OPEK summit should be arranged on September 9 in Vienna on
which this question will be discussed, initiated by Iran and Venezuela.
On the other hand, there are a lot of anxieties on new recession in USA - on
Friday the USA Ministry of Labor informed that the unemployment level in
August grew to 6.1 % of able-bodied population, compared to 5.7 % in July.
