Nearest oil futures prices decreased 1.34 % - 1.63 % on major world trading floors

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, September 5, 08/ - By the results of trades of
September 4 this year:
- on NYMEX (New York) the price of Light Sweet Crude Oil mixture with
delivery in October 2008 decreased by 1.34 % to $107.89 per barrel;
- on ICE (London) price of October Brent Forties Oseburg futures fell by
1.63 % to $106.30 per barrel
Oil continues falling; on Thursday accelerator was the weekly report of USA
Ministry of Energy, according to which oil commodity reserves in the country
decreased by 1.9 m. barrels to 303.9 m. barrels, commodity reserves of car
petrol - by 1 m. barrels to 194.4 m. barrels. At that, analysts forecast falling
of petrol reserves by 3.2 m. barrels.
On the other hand, EUR/USD rate fell to minimum this year after
announcement of Jean-Claude Trishe, the head of ECB that Bank of
England and ECB decided to leave interest rates unchanged. Besides, ECB
had toughened requirements to provision, which European banks use for
ECB loans.
