The appropriate decision was made by the Committee of managers of region CEMEA of international payment system on its session in London on August 28, 2008. The improvement of status of Eurasian Bank in the international Visa International system will allow the financial institution efficient and prompt management of implementation of new products and technologies. In addition, the bank's new status opens great opportunities for plastic cards market development in Kazakhstan. "By this decision Visa International proved that Eurasian Bank activities comply with high standards of the international payment organization. From the beginning of this year the number of circulating Eurasian Bank plastic cards increased by 9 %. The bank is planning to increase the portion of card services from present 0.85% to 5% till the end of 2011. The bank intends to significantly increase the number of cash dispensers and increase volumes of loans through the revolving credit cards Cash'U.
