KASE yet has no info on BURLINGAZSTROY (Kazakhstan) paying second coupon on bonds KZ2C0Y05C556 (BGSTb1)

/KASE, August 19, 08/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) informs that in accordance with the prospectus of issue of bonds KZ2C0Y05C556 (official KASE list of category "B", BGSTb1; KZT1,000, KTZ3.0 bn.; 01.08.07 - 01.08.12, semiannual coupon 10.0 % APR) of BURLINGAZSTROY (Astana) payment of coupon interest to holders of the bonds must be made within ten working days following the register fixing date. The register fixing date for payment of the second coupon on the indicated bonds is July 31, 2008. The payment of the coupon must be made beginning August 1 through August 14 inclusively. Currently KASE has no information regarding payment or payment default on the coupon and therefore sent a corresponding request to BURLINGAZSTROY to obtain explanations. [2008-08-19]
