/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, August 19, 08/ - By the results of trades of
August 18 this year:
- on NYMEX (New York) the price of Light Sweet Crude Oil mixture with
delivery in September 2008 decreased by 0.79 % to $112.87 per barrel;
- on ICE (London) price of October Brent Forties Oseburg futures fell by
0.54 % to $111.94 per barrel
Oil continues to fall - slowing down demand on "black gold" on the side of USA
and China remains the major quotation-decreasing factor.
Anxieties on deliveries failure because of Phey storm in the Gulf of Mexico
didn't affect trades, as it was known that the storm would pass by the most
part of production infrastructure in this region.
