/KASE, August 15, 08/ - The Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on
Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations
(AFS) in response on written inquiry of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) if
release in "Yuridicheskaya Gazeta" of August 1, 2008 of AFS Resolution "On
Introduction of Amendment to Resolution No. 110 of the Board of the Agency of
the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market
and Financial Organizations of March 26, 2005 "On Approval of Rules on
Acknowledgement of Price Manipulative Security Deals" of May 26, 2008 (the
Resolution), and on effective date of the Resolution is official, notified KASE
in an official letter of the following:
- The Resolution has been officially released in "Yuridicheskaya Gazeta"
dated August 1, 2008 number 116 (1516);
- The Resolution is effective beginning August 12, 2008.
As informed earlier, the Resolution was registered by the Ministry of Justice of
the Republic of Kazakhstan on July 15, 2008 with number 5259.
The text of the Rules of acknowledgement of price manipulative security deals
effected in accordance with the Resolution, is available at the KASE website at:
