/SUPPLEMENTED/ Growth rates of GDP of Kazakhstan decrease in initial 6 months of 2008/07 from 10.2 % to 5.4 %

/REUTERS, Almaty, August 14, 08 table data on GDP structure were added/ - Growth rates of GDP of Kazakhstan in initial 6 months of 2008 decreased from 10.2 % to 5.4 % for the same period of 2006, the Statistics Agency of RK announced the operative data. Volume of GDP in absolute expression made KZT6.95 trl. (about $58 bn.). Earlier Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning estimated GDP growth in initial 6 months of 2008 at 5.1 %. According to Statistics Agency the stake of goods production takes 44.2 %, services - 55.2 % in GDP structure Kazakhstan authorities as a whole by results of 2008 are expecting the deceleration of economic growth to 5.3 - 5.5 % compared to 8.7 % in 2007.
