BANK CASPIAN plans $150 m. foreign borrowing

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, August 12, 08/ - Kazakhstan
commercial Caspian bank plans $150 m. foreign borrowing in nearest future,
Mikhail Lomtadze, the Chairman of bank's Board informed on Tuesday on
press conference in Almaty.
"It will be the third international financial organization, which will provide
$50 m. and organize $100 m. financing" - he said.
As well known the bank has already made $160 m. foreign borrowing this
year: $100 m. from IFC and $60 m. form European Bank for Reconstruction
and Development.
Earlier, M. Lomtadze informed that the bank plans $300-400 m. borrowing
this year.
By the results of 2007 BANK CASPIAN took 75th place on assets volume
among CIS banks and 8th place among Kazakhstan commercial banks in
Interfax - 1000 "CIS banks" ranking, made by Interfax-CEA.
