Kazakhstan trading balance surplus increases to $17.9 bn. in initial 6 months of 2008

/REUTERS, Almaty, August 6, 08/ - Kazakhstan external trade positive balance (including CIS countries), by data of customs statistics, in January- June 2008 totaled to $17.9 bn., the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning informed on Wednesday. According to Statistics, positive balance made $7.011 bn. in initial 6 months of last year. Export in January - June 2008 made $35.0 bn. compared to $21.8 bn. a year ago, import - $17.1 bn. compared to $14.8 bn. in initial 6 months of last year. [2008-08-06]
