/IRBIS, Ruslan Dzubaylo, August 4, 08/ - For the first 7 months of 2008, the volume of purchase and sale transactions in government securities (GS) made on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including bonds of national local authorities, totaled KZT410.3 bn. ($3,406.5 m.) and decreased relative to the corresponding period last year by 46.51 % (30.39 % in dollar terms). On the whole in 2007 the volume of corresponding transactions with GS on KASE was KZT992.1 bn. ($8,065.7 m.).
