Nearest oil futures prices decrease by 2.04% - 2.49% on major world trading floors

/IRBIS, Dinara Mukasheva, July 30, 08/ - By the results of trades of July 29
this year:
- on NYMEX (New York) the price of Light Sweet Crude Oil mixture with
delivery in September 2008 decreased by 2.04 % to $122.19 per barrel;
- on ICE (London) price of September Brent Forties Oseburg futures fell
by 2.49 % to $122.71 per barrel
Oil sharply fell on dollar growth after the non-governmental research
organization Conference Board announced that consumer confidence index grew from
51.0 in June to 51.9 in July.
On the other hand OPEK President Shakib Khelil's announcing "current "black
gold" prices are unjustifiably high" forced quotes go down. According to him,
prices may drop to and below $80 provided dollar grows and geopolitical tension
weakens.
