National Bank of Kazakhstan to issue KZT5, 000 jubilee bill in circulation

/IRBIS, July 10, 2008/ - Press service of National Bank of Kazakhstan republic disseminated press release of the following: Quotation start November15, 2008 is 15th jubilee day of national currency tenge in sovereign Kazakhstan. In honor of it, July 8, 2008 National Bank of Kazakhstan issued KZT5, 000 jubilee bill in circulation. Issue drawing made 10.2 m. copies. Current bill of 2006 was used as a base, which was completed form above and below by jubilee sign "TENGEGE BES ZHYL" and new protective element Spark. New element - Spark is a design of Swiss company Sicpa, the leader on protective paint market. Protective element Spark is in lower left corner of jubilee bill in the form of spread eagle, contrasting on the background of shining sun and changing the color from bright green to bright blue while changing the bill's angle of slope. Besides, while changing the bill's angle of slope, eagle's spread wings by sparkling and irradiance imitate dynamic movement of the eagle. Consumption of high protection technology Spark on Kazakhstan tenge is one of the first introductions of this element in the world on monetary symbols and is the component of constant work on improving design of national currency and amplification of protective features. As European Central Bank informed, this protective element will be priority for new series of euro bills in 2009. All other visual characteristics and protective elements of this bill coincide with KZT5000 bill of 2006. At that, KZT5000 bill of 2006 remains the legal means of payment and is compulsory to admittance at nominal cost over Kazakhstan republic on all types of payment and also for enrolment on bank's accounts and for transfers.
