Statistics Agency: Industrial manufacturers' prices surge 7.3 % in June 2008

Prices and tariffs for energy supply on the whole for the month went up by 10.3 %, for gas condensate - 12.9 %, oil - by 11.2 %, electric energy - by 2.1 %, oil products - by 1.4 % and coal - 0.8 %. In metallurgical industry over last month, the increase of prices was noted for rolling of ferrous metals - by 19 %, ferroalloys - by 0.7 % and their decrease for lead - by 14.2%, copper - 2.7 %, aluminum - 1.4 %, precious metals - by 1.1 %. Foodstuffs, made in the republic, grew for the last month by 2.3 %, poultry meat - by 10.5%, cattle meat - 8.6 %, vegetable oil - 4.7 %, wheat flour - 4 %, bread - 2.6 %, for milk products had fallen by 1.2%, sugar - 0.5 %. Index of enterprisers-manufactures shows the dynamics of prices of industrial products, produced by Republican enterprisers. When building the index the scheme of weighting, formed on the basis of data on prices of products, produced by industrial enterprisers of the republic in acting prices for a certain year is used. Prices' changes are observed at selected network of basis enterprisers of various forms of property and products. [2008-07-09]
