The data on crops in table are based on information of CBOT (Chicago Board of
Trade); data on cotton and sugar - NYBOT (New York Board of Trade).
USD/bu - price in USD per grain bushel, USD/lb - price in USD per pound.
According to CBOT review, for the week wheat export made 15 m. bushel, which
is lower than forecast by the USA Department of Agriculture (19.3 m. bushel). At
that, quarter reserves of wheat as of June 1, 2008 are estimated in 305.6 m.
bushel (against 456 m. bushel for the same period of last year). These data are
moderately negative, which affected crops prices dynamics on Monday.
Nevertheless, analysts expect growth of wheat prices in the nearest future due
to floods in harvest Middle West territories of the USA.
