/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, June 24, 08/ - Kazakhstan companies, after correction of the country bank system are interested to enter the domestic stock market, Karim Masimov, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan announced. "In 2-3 recent years we'll see rather rapid development of the national stock exchange. We'll witness mass release of financial information by Kazakhstan companies (to conduct IPO - IF-K), - Masimov said on Kazakhstan-American business forum on Tuesday, in Astana. Thereupon, he marked that before the August last year, Kazakhstan bank system "had unlimited access to loan capital market and needs of domestic business were covered at the expense of local banks borrowing outside". "Earlier, when the government discussed development of the fund capital market in Kazakhstan, many were skeptical as didn't feel it to be necessary in this sector development. After August, the situation changed, and many Kazakhstan companies became more interested to be transparent and enter both Kazakhstan and world stock exchanges" - Masimov emphasized. [2008-06-25]
