Government to include amends in law on KDB, which allows bank to finance working capital of non primary sector enterprisers

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, June 19, 08/ - In nearest future
Kazakhstan government will include bill in parliament "On including amends and
additions in law "On Kazakhstan Development Bank (KDB), Umirzak Shukeev,
Vice Prime Minister of republic informed.
"Soon the bill with amends in law "On Kazakhstan Development Bank" will be
included in parliament, which is allowing bank to finance working capital
production of non primary sector" - he said on the extended meeting of
parliament group Nur-Otan in Astana on Thursday.
U. Shukeev explained that in compliance with current legislation, KDB can't
finance working capital. "But now, we have situation, connected with necessity
to complete working assets of non primary sector enterprisers" - he marked
thereupon.
KDB was founded in 2001 and is the part of state Fund of sustainable
development Kazyna JSC, which was crated for improving the system of
corporate management of development institutes. KDB provides crediting of
medium and long term investments projects in industrial infrastructure and non
primary sectors of economy.
